Default RE: 2005 bows- anybody tried these?

I purchased a hoyt pro tec for 3-D this year. My scores picked up considerably with the forgiveness of this bow. I bought it in the safari colors so I could use it for hunting as well as target. I liked the bow so much that I bought the same 2005 pro tec in camo colors. I was able to get awesome groups with my broadheads through this bow. I hunted bears with this bow this spring and liked the riser, as it worked as a handle for my bow. It seemed alot easier to pack than a conventional riser. After the initial setup of the bow and timing of the cams with the control cables. I had no problems with the factory strings or servings. I did put a winners choice on the target bow, as the strings were already shot out on it. I like the tapped holes on the riser of the pro tec. It allowed me a place to attatch side weights to offset the weight of the sight. I was always a Mathews man until this year, and like the switchback in many ways. The bowtechs are good products too. When I picked up the pro tec and shot it for the first time, it just seemed like an extension of me and everything felt natural with it. Kudos for you for doing some research. It is nice to have something that will work for you after spending hard earned dollars. I have seen too many people buy a bow for the name or poularity, just to find that the bow will not work for them. Good luck
