Why did you buy your bow?

You need to just back off a little Dairy King. You just can't save the world. I come here only for good hunting advice. I don't come here to bust on anyone's chops or to sell them on the best bow made. We know the Black Eagle is the best and enough said.

WEll, I have three bows and got each one for a different reason. I got my Darton because I picked it up, sighted it in and had 5 arrows in the 5 X rings at 20 yards inside of 5 minutes after struggling with my Parker Hunter for a couple months to get anywhere close to that. Actually handed the shop owner my whole bow and traded out accesories so I walked away with the bow the way I shot it.
Unfortunatley for me I have a history of rotator cuff issues so I started worrying about hunting season ruling around and my shoulder flaring up and not being able to shoot. All the stretching excersizes in the world don't guarentee anything. I was talking to the shop owner about this and looked at a few of the easier drawing bows on the market at 50-60 pounds but he recommended that I should really try an Oneida as there is really nothing out there that compares to them for ease of draw. Well, after looking and looking I walked into a shop to look at a Bowtech and there it was, hanging there. a 2003 BE ESC Medium LF. It was great. Walked out with it the next day and shot the heck out if it for a while.
Well, than I got to hanging out on the Oneida site and they kept talking about Stealths and how you had to shoot one of those. Well, I thought about converting the BE to one but was hesitant because I didn't want to loose the easy draw of that bow. Well, a custom made one came up for sale, built to your specs so I jumped on it and now I shoot that bow about 10 times as often as the BE. The BE is great but I just shoot the Stealth a lot better.
I'm sure a year from now there will be a fourth bow in the stable. Probably an Axe cam from Monster Bows, or maybe I will convert the BE to an Axe an get another wheel bow. I just like them all so much and get a lot of pleasure from shooting different bows. It's like driving a new car, finding out how it handles and what you can do with it. One of the true pleasures in Archery IMO.. Actually, have my eye on going to a stickbow place and making my own...Already shot on the guy makes and sells and they are a real treat to shoot

Ahhh....The AXE cam! The speed to match the Switchback with the smoothness of a Black Eagle. Can't wait for Mike and Bob to finally announce it.

i bought mine because a week before my first bow season the bow i originally bought snapped while practicing so i went to bass pro to get another one and the PSE was the only one they had in stock that would fit me....i was not happy at all but i ended up killing a doe my first morning out so i decided that we bonded and couldn't take it back.
