What do you guys use as a backstop when sighting in with broadheads. I'm concerned about damaging the broadhead or not being able to retrieve it from the target. Thanks.

Our club puts out about ten or twelve McKenzie targets that won't stand another 3D shoot. We have them set at different yardages around out elevated platform. At home I have my own McKenzie deer and Strutting turkey. If you haven't done so try joining a club in your area that does likewise, or if you are already with a club make the suggestion. For the backyard, you can get a piece of ethafoam a couple feet square for braodheads. Almost any archery shop should have them.

I was a member of a club but never got to go. I guess I could have gone on weekends but I chose to go fishing on my free weekends instead. Thanks for the suggestion.

Scott, there are broadhead targets available. I have one called The Cube. It works fine for an individual. Mine is black, and I use white sidewalk chalk to put marks on to shoot at. If you move your shots around, it should last ok.
