I noticed you have been posting in the traditional forum etc. and I thought you might be making a swing in that direction. I think that's cool. I am sure I will go that direction eventually. I just think it will be a few more years. Good luck!

I moved to a new home with 5 acres - deer tracks EVERYWHERE. The guy next door I chatted with last night and he's like, yeah, a few little bucks around and I'm thinking hot DAMN ! A little buck would make my frickin day with my recurve !

Yea that's the hold back right now. I shoot trad pretty good and I think I can shoot good enough to be money 20 yards and in with some practice, it's just that I am afrad I would jump out of my tree if a 150 walked by at 28 yards and I couldn't shoot him

I hear ya!!! But that's the price to pay!!

I came to the conclusion, that in my area, in my woods, the odds of me killing the trophy buck I'm after is VERY slim......maybe once every 5 years...... That sucks!!! That's not fun!!! So I've decided to move the challenge from the animal to the weapon..... Don't get me wrong, I will still pursue trophy bucks, but maybe, just maybe I will get some satisfaction from filling a tag.....

With hunter numbers declining as they are(or so we are all told) the state's economy would love such a thing. Put a weapon in someone's hands that is easier to shoot=more tags sold=more money for the manufacturer=more money for each state's DNR. Now everyone is happy.

i have said it before and i say it again who the hell classified a crossbow as a disability tool? far from the truth believe me. this assumption with quote on quote disabled hunters. if they are that disabled they do not need to be in the woods with a weapon near me. and excuse me if they are unable to pull a compound bow geez i wonder how they pull a crossbow. i say its a racket heck if i wanted to i could go to my doc tommorow and get a free ticket to use a crossbow. it ticks me off that your ignorance comes to life. sorry crossbows are not manufactured by wheelchairs of america a fact that you all need to come to grips with. crossbows been around longer than life itself and oi have yet to see the images of a wheelchair bound able body with his crossbow. this issue has gotten ridiculous. show me one crossbow that says manufactured for the diabled. in fact you all would like to hope that the crossbow was in you arsenal of wheelchairs. all you pecker heads that support crossbow disability act really need to do some homework crossbow are only for the quote on quote disabled? come on you all been in the sun too long and it has fried your brain beyond repair... HORTON RULES
