Anyone else experience what I do? I use to shoot aluminums and they would go right through a deer and never break, but might get bent by a tree if it didnt go all the through. Every time I shoot a deer with a carbon it never goes through and it breaks. I know why it doesnt go through the deer, but why does it break all the time. I broke one my hands one time and they are tough shafts, and trust me dont break one with your hands, it will rattle the hell out of your hands and it hurts.

I have always had pass thru shots with carbon arrows and only broke one in the last 6 years when I hit a limb. What kind of carbon are you using?, those junk ones in the barrell at Walmart.

I only buy the best carbons on the market after i had some cheap cabelas carbon hunter arrows..never again will i shoot them. once you have one shatter and go into your hand, it makes you think a little different. do yourself a favor, shell out the money for some Carbon Express CX's or Goldtip's and take care of them. no more broken arrows. i had a cabelas arrow break off in a deer and i think its why i never found blood. however, i had a doe jump the string and my CX-200 went through one ham and stuck out the opposite rib cage without breaking.

I have had Goldtip XT's, Carbon Force Radial Weaves, PSE Carbon Denominators, and Easton A/C/C's. I bought 12 A/C/C's about 2 1/2 months ago. I only fletched three arrows. I am still shooting those three. I have hit the ground, other arrows, pinecones, and even a fence (the arrow went through the target. I have a clear shooting land behind the fence.) I would have probably gone through half a dozen of the other arrows by now. Do yourself a favor and get some good quality arrows. I made a mistake by getting all 12 arrows cut to 27". I will probably only fletch 6 arrows.

"Unfortunately" I've never had that problem with my Gold Tips. One day shooting at a target in the garage from 20 yards, I accidently touched off my release just before I got to full draw. Since I wasn't set, the arrow went just wide of the target, through two sides of the discharge chute on my snowblower, through the sheet rock on the garage wall, through the insulation, and the sheet rock on the family room side of the wall. Thank God it stopped before it got all the way through the family room wall or I'd have had to buy a brand new TV (not to mention a new place to live and every thing else after my wife kicked me out of this one). Needless to say, I don't shoot into the garage anymore.
Oh yeah, the only damage to the arrow was a couple torn vanes.

I had an Easton Axis 400 break on me during this past season. It looks like a thin little twig but is much stronger than it looks but it broke when I hit a strong bone. It was a bad shot but it should've broke. Mine broke right where the fleching started.

Most of you arent listening. I can hit anything other than a deer and the arrow is fine, but when I shoot a deer and the deer takes off the arrow breaks. Ive seen it a 100 times with several other brands........ easton, beaman, redhead, carbon force, etc..
