Default Breaking arrow shafts

Anyone else experience what I do? I use to shoot aluminums and they would go right through a deer and never break, but might get bent by a tree if it didnt go all the through. Every time I shoot a deer with a carbon it never goes through and it breaks. I know why it doesnt go through the deer, but why does it break all the time. I broke one my hands one time and they are tough shafts, and trust me dont break one with your hands, it will rattle the hell out of your hands and it hurts.
