I shoot a Mathews Switchback 29" draw @68# and I am looking at the best hunting arrow for big game. I have been looking at the Easton ACC, Superslam XX78, and Carbon Evolution? Any suggestions?

I am new to the carbon game. But I do know that Superslam XX78's are a great choice! I have killed 5 elk in Idaho with my bow. And all of them with those arrows. They got my vote!!

Emmett, heck your just over the hill from me.

I have used several arrows for elk and I am back at the easton xx78's. They are all I need tipped with a COC head. I shoot ACC's for 3-D but can't see spending that much money for a hunting arrow when the old aluminums put em down every time.

I bought a dozen Gold Tips 55/75 and when practicing and was happy with them,till I started shooting the Easton axis of my buddys,they are out penetrating the GT's by at least 4-6 inches on the target,some of the Aixs's are burying them selves to the fleatching.I bought a dz last week and have bought another from a guy on the net here.With G5's montects pratice points and the axis arrows I thik it will be a good combo.I shoot a 28 inch draw and a Mathews SB @ 68#'s

I'm just starting this bowhunting thing so you might wan't to go with the veterans on this.

The XX75 or XX78 shafts work great for elk hunting. I have used XX75 2314's in the
past with excellent results.
