This may be a stupid question but I thought that you wanted the bow to just slightly tilt forward in your bow hand when you are just holding it out infront of you. If you add a longer stabilizer wouldnt that mess that up and throw the balance off?

Well the one I added turned out to be 8.7 ounces with weight out in front farther for a stably feel. As opposed to my old stabalizer which was 12 ounces with the weight basically all at the handle so only made bow heavier.

For hunting I try to keep the length to 6 inches or less. Weight is more dependent on the riser design of the bow and the bow's own weight distribution. I am looking for the proper balance in other words. For the last few years I have been primarily using various Sims Enhancer 2000, regular enhancer and modular stabilizer combinations.

I shoot a sims modular and it has been then best I've screwed into my riser. One of these days I'm going to try the stealth. I read so much about them here I've got to know for myself.
