trophy ridge drop zone OR quick tune 4000
I recently bought a mcpherson 38 special and i want a fall away arrow rest, but i'm not sure which to get. I was looking at the trophy ridge drop zone and the quick tune 4000 and they both seem like they would work great. Any info on either will help alot thanks

RE: trophy ridge drop zone OR quick tune 4000
I just started working with a Quicktune 4000 and have been pretty pleased with it. It has been very easy to adjust and all the adjustments lock down tightly. I like that the cable is braided steel and not nylon. My only complaint so far is noise. The launcher is a little noisy when drawing an arrow. I think a little fleece will quiet it down nicely. It's a very nice rest.
I have no experience with the Drop Zone.
I have a Trophy Taker Shakey hunter also. It too was easy to set up and is very simple, rugged and extremely quiet. Highly recommended!

I have two of the Drop Zones on both my Bowtech Liberty and my back up bow. They have preformed flawlessly for well over a year. I really like the fact that the rest is actually concealed until the bow is drawn. They were easy to setup and tune. Alan

I've known several folks that have used both rests and everyone of them favor the TR DZ. I haven't used the NAP myself but I have experimented with many other fallaway designs and the TR DZ are set-up on ALL my rigs. I have never found a better shooting, easier tuning rest. I love 'em!

I used the drop zone on my old jennings and really liked it. However, I just got a new switchback and went with the Vital Bow Gear drop away and it (IMO) exceeds the qulaity of the DZ. VBG is worth a look!

I have shot both rests. I had a NAP Dropaway on part of this hunting season. It was on my bow for 3 does this year. I have the DZ on right now and I like it much more than the NAP. I modified my NAP to a cord that attached to the cable. I thought it gave more clearance than the cable because that cable could "tap" a fletching on that once in a lifetime shot opp.

i have a quick tune 2k, and my bud has a drop zone. he had some sort of problem with the drop zone, and couldn't get it to work out. he changed back to his original tm hunter. I think they are both good rests, but I don't think I'll waver from my quick tune.
