Default Blazers with a QT4000

Hi,

Does anyone shoot Bohning Blazers with the NAP 4000 QT? I went hell for leather trying to tune my set-up since a re-string and can't get good clearance with these higher profile vanes.

I'm thinking of going for a Dropzone, but have asked NAP if they have any aftermarket adjustments (eg longer prongs).

Any comments?

Greg

I've had the same problem with my QT 2000. I can't get the clearance. Part of the problem is the Quiktune's come up to early in the draw since they are mounted on the cable slide. I crudely served the cable from the rest to the down buss cable and now the rest is coming up in about the last 1.5" of draw, but havent shot it enough to get any results yet. I'll let you know.

Aaaaaahhhh- a reply!

Yup - I agree with you on the cable slide issue. That definitely doesn't work (for my bow at least) and I had to serve the rope into the bus cable. Timing is good now.

Just still whacks my Blazers. Blazers have a 0.55" profile. Anyone know what the profile on the NAP Quickspins are?

Thx,

Greg

So your still hitting with it served in the buss cable? Oh, that's bad news.

I'm looking at the Trophy Taker original. It looks like if you shot it cock vane up, the other two vanes would pass on the outside of the launcher arm.

I can see where this would work. I've tried the shooting the blazers cock vane up, but both vanes hit the prongs. This won't happen with the TT rest as you pointed out.

Cheers,

Greg
