RE: big problem
This is a problem that we all should welcome...not IF we will be getting new gear, but what to get. IMO I'd definitely go for the new bow (I'm a Martin man myself). I think that the scent-lok is somewhat of a gimmick. There are enough other options in regards to scent control that are much cheaper and most likely nearly as effective: Clothing detergents, soap/ shampoo, carbon sprays/ cover ups etc. The bow is something that cannot be compensated for. You had beatter hurry up and decide if you plan on getting proficient with it for this season. Here in NJ the season starts in 2 weeks <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I would have to agree. I own a camo scent lock suit and now feel it's $200.00 that could have been very well spent elsewere.
I use earth cover scent on my other camos with the same or better results.
Get the new toy, at least you can play with it all year long and not just wear it a couple of months.

RE: big problem
To me it would depend on what bow I was currently shooting. If I shot a nice bow already, I'd go for something else. My scent suit would have been well worth the money even without the oder eliminating capabilities. Its good at keeping out the wind and rain which makes it very warm in foul weather. Good cloths can make the difference in your hunt being good or miserable.
