RE: opinions on Darton bows
I have always held a special place in my heart for Darton. Many years ago as a young
bowhunter I killed my first deer with a Darton SL1000. It was a nice 8 point taken on
public land. I will never forget that day, man what a thrill it was. Today I am shooting
a Mathews Ovation but my next bow will probably be a Darton Tundra Extreme.
I love the Hybrids and think they are much better than a single cam when it comes
to ease of tuning and shooting qualities. Darton has been leading the way for a long
time now.

My Darton Cyclone LD outshoots my Hoyt Protec and Bowtech Pro 40. I think much of it is due to how it fits my hand.
One caveat, however: on Dartons you need to keep an eye on the power cable about 4" from the bottom; it wears fast there.

I have a new Parker, a Darton, and a PSE. I thought I'd be useing the Parker and have the Darton as a backup....but it's kind of working the other way....Darton with the Parker backup.... I love this Darton and it shoots cleaner and straighter than any bow I've had. And it's almost an antique now.....
