Default Morrell Six Shooter Target

How is the Six Shooter target? Supposedly you can shoot all six sides, but I have been told to only shoot the two opposite sides with broad heads, this is to avoid cross cutting which will eventually cut the middle right out. I have never shot one, and was wondering how easily the arrows pull out, how durable the target is, and if it is worth buying.

Don't quote me cause I don't have mine here. But I believe that you can shoot broadheads on any side, it is the field points that can't be shot on any side. Anyway I had mine dor about 2 months now and am having pass throughs. Not happy. I have found that my home made target is much more durable. But not as easy to remove arrows from.

The Six Shooter is okay. I have had mine for a couple of months and have shot countless arrows into it. There are two sides that are only to have broadheads in them, but that is because it is extremely tough to get the field points out (trust me from experience on this one - it seems as though these two sides are really, really tough to get arrows out of). You can shoot all six sides of it, but sometimes if you hit it just right it will swallow up your arrow [:@] Then you have to go to the pain of trying to get the stinkin arrow out and refletching it. I have had this happen on a number of occassions. Overall it's better than some others that I have seen out there and does have a nice big area to shoot at. Two of the sides even have circles molded in the plastic frame for target shooting. Also, depending upon the broadhead you do shoot out of it, chunks may come out with the broadhead (after quite a few shots). Just my 2 cents worth, hope it helps.

Live every day on purpose,
Jim

I don't like mine either. Hard to get arrows out and tore up after 1 season.
I do like thier Bionic Buck for field tips though. I use a box of cloth strips for broadheads.
