I have tried hot water but it did not seem to help. I have also heard that a hair dryer works well but have not tired it yet.

Try a Hair dryer or soak them in Boiling water for a few seconds. I have also used a knife but you have to be very careful not to damage carbon shafts when doing this. But I have found that the boiling water and hair dryer methods work best, And if there is any adhesive residue left over I use a plastic type brillo pad and some 90% alcohol to remove the residue.

Easy, don't use the silly things!

I don't like the sounds of using anything that involves heat on carbon arrows. That kind of talk makes me cringe. I would probably scrape them off with a dull knife, then use denatures alcohol to remove the left over glue.

I don't know if it would affect the carbon, but WD40 works great on removing stickers. Spray it on and let it sit overnight they should come right off.
