Default Delta target leg broken

I have one of those Delta Deer targets with the replaceable boiler room. Well the back leg snaped about 5" down from where you insert it into the body. Right at the hock. I can see where there is a rod in the leg and the leg snapped right at the end of the rod. Probably to much sun. Any way I was going to peg it back together with an aluminum gutter spike about 9"long and would like to know what kind of glue or epoxy to use, though it doesn't matter to me, I could use it the way it is and just hang it againt the backstop, but the wife bought it for me and set it up in the woods on a snowy Christmas Day, as a present (looked real to everyone else)and she feels bad it broke.

I would put it back together with a spike. Since it was a gift from the wife I would sure keep it. And they are to expensive to just throw away.

I had the same thing happen, after inserting the spike I would get some Gorlilla Glue and then wrap the joint with duct tape. It will work but you need to be careful, it's never as strong.
