Default Delta Back Yard Legend Target

In my last order at Cabelas I added the Delta Back Yard Legend target with an extra vital insert. Has anyoneused it? Has it held up? I'm hoping I don't blast through it with a few shots. It's my 1st 3D target and I can't wait to shoot at it!

Being as you already have it I think you're asking a little late. You'll certainly get to find out. My experience with Delta is not good. They just don't last, especially if you're going to punching blades through it.

Next time ask before you buy.

Delta 3D targets shoot out fast. I had a few of them and Lavern is a good friend, but he still doesn't make the target as good as some as the other 3Ds targets out their. I would always shot out about a 3 inch hole around the 12 ring of the vital insert in a few days of shooting with field points and start passing through it. Shooting it from different angles will cut out the hole that holds the replacement vital insert on the back side making it loose are hard to replace by expanding it.

By way of comparison, how much longer do the other brands last?
