Default Hoyt Ultramag

I'm looking for any comments on the 2004 Hoyt Ultramag...good or bad...
also, with a short 26" draw, what fps should it achieve with a 28" ACC 3/49-390 tipped with an 85 grain Thunderhead

Just bought an 04 Ultramag. I LOVE IT!! Very quiet, incredibly smooth, fast accurate and forgiving. I have a 30 " draw, shooting 5.8 grains per pound, and I get 284 fps.
With only a 26 inch draw, it will be slower. This is only a guesstimate, but I would say probably around 240-250 fps. You didn't give your draw weight, so I am not really sure.
I shoot 70 #.

The ultramags IBO rating is at 305. That is based on a 70lb, 30" draw. To give you an idea, I'm shooting a Vipertec which is rated at 300 IBO. I'm shooting 28" draw and 63lbs. I'm shooting Vapor 4000's and I'm getting a very consistent 250 with it. I would assume at 70 pounds I would pick up the speed to somewhere in the ballpark around 255-260.

thanks for the replies...
I can't wait to get the bow...its on back order. The problem with such a short draw is that there aren't many bows in the pro-shop that fit me, so I can't try many out before deciding what I prefer. I've been a Hoyt customer for a long time and I'm sure this bow will be great.
I plan to shoot it at 58#'s or so, but speed is secondary to stealth in my book, so I'm banking on this bow to be nice and quiet for deer hunting.

just bought mine a month ago. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY like it! Very smooth, forgiving, quiet, accurate, and smooth. My specs are in my signature. What I really like as well is that this bow, although the cost is much less that say the x-tec, performs pretty much just as good.
