I don't know what you mean by "quick thumb adjust". If you are referring to a one pin sight, I can't be of much help, yet. I have ordered an HHA Optimizer 5000 and it should arrive today. However, this will be my first sight of this type.
I have been using a Spot-Hogg Right On which is a 5 pin sight. This is a very rugged sight with great adjustability.
Good luck and I hope you get more responses to your question.

RE: bow sight need help
I am currently using an HHA optimizer site with a simple fine lie cross hair site. Although this site is not fiber optic the cross hairs are really fine and it works well for me the adjustments make it easy to be dead on at any range. If you don't have time to adjust the site I just leave it sited in at 25 yards which will cover me from 5-30 yards without having to make severe hold under or over judgement.

RE: bow sight need help
My HHA Optimizer 5000 arrived yesterday and I can give you my initial impressions. First, the sight appears to built like a tank. It attached easily to my bow, and old Pearson Hunter Classic that I am bringing out of retirement. Windage adjustment is micro adjustable. Vertical adjustment of the scope is easily done. The green .030 pin is much brighter than the pins on my Spot-Hogg. The Optimizer also has a built in level and will accomodate a pin light and magnifying lens. While I've not yet used this sight, I am confident it will work very well.
I have read many, many positive comments about the Optimizer over on the Archery Talk forums.
