Default What is in your emergency pack?

I just got done repacking my emergency back pack for the " what if" times. There have been those hunts for elk or just camping where I end up two or three miles back in the mountains and I end up just camping out. Here is my list. What would you all add or have in yours?

Water Purifier Bug Spray
Water Proof Matches Tarp
Emergency Blanket Plastic Bag
Whistle Snake Bite kit
Toilet Paper GPS
Wool Socks Two way radio
Mirror Dental Floss
Scent Killer Latex Gloves
Ducted Tape Flares
Tow Strap

Indeed, it does add weight but I figure would I rather be weighted down a bit or dead. Also, I have been asked the prices of some of these. Most are really inexpensive..infact you can substitute some of them. Instead of a mirror. I use an old scratched up CD. I guess when considering price for say a water purifier, what is your life worth....

Oh yeah, i forgot a few things: a buck knife, my gerber multi tool and some saws and bear repelant. Heck, that might be my own scent. That would explain a lot..

I don' t know, have I gone overboard.

I didn' t see any emergency type equipment like disinfectants, bandages, guaze and/or oiments like bacitracin (neosporin) or possibly even an epi pen if you have allergies to say bee or wasp venom.
Some simple things like Tylenol, Ibuprophen, Imodium A-D and antacids can be a real trip saver.[]

Hope this helps..[:-]

I' d add a cell phone, flashlight and if permissible, a pistol/ammunition in a heavy caliber.
