RE: Which bow manufacturer?
HoytUSA. I have shot all the other bows on the market. I had a Mathews Q2, and told myself that I would never own a Hoyt. Boy was I wrong. Last year I shot one of my dealer' s demo Supertec. I was sold. I will never own anything but a Hoyt. I currently have a Razortec and a Supertec. Absolutly no regrets.

Mathews, Hoyt or BowTech. I like the way the Mathews LX feels and shoots. My uncle shoots a Hoyt, but I don' t know what model. I have never used a BowTech, but they seem to get good reviews and are very highly regarded.

Slee-,from what i saw they are pretty nice the guy at gander mtn. offered to set it up but i declined (wife would KILL me if i tried gettin another bow) he did tell me that they have a little hand shock , the new parker are real nice too , as far as the hand shock i think some simms products would probably take care of it , other wise like i said they are nice!

Reflex is basicly Hoyt. At least that is the parent company. Reflex is a lower-priced line of bows with some of Hoyt' s features like the Cam and a 1/2, that is marketed mainly to mail-order and package deals. Good, solid bows. The one I had stolen was a Reflex that I' d had since 1998 without any trouble at all. I appreciate all of the replies. People certainly have their favorites, and it' s good to get a varied response.

Merlin Hunter' s Quest 35. My customers are simply loving this bow--very quiet, straight and level nock travel at all drawlengths, #1 pick for hunting.
Others to check--
Darton, Diamond, Kodiak Outdoors, Parker. The smaller companies always seem to build a higher-quality product, because each sale MATTERS. Just my own thoughts, Pinwheel 12
