Ditto on the tranquilizer!! I put it on my bow and it was a night and day difference. That and limb savers and a couple of cat whiskers and by Anaconda is dead quiet.

I hae to give the Pro-Flex from Alpine Archery a top mark. Its great at quieting a bow and with the rubber construction if you bump it if gives.... I love mine and have it on both bows.......

Doinker on my Target bow and the Tranquilizer on my hunting bows.
This Stabilizer matches and works better than my metal powder filled.

Bought myself a VibraCheck stablizer (7 1/2" ) over the past weekend...I had a choice of getting a Doinker 7" . I chose the VibraCheck because it is completely filled with gel...from end to end, while the Doinker is partially filled with gel. The Vibracheck is a bit heavier and bigger...it is also rubber coated. More expensive than the Doinker too.

I just have to ask. What is the true purpose of a stabilizer?

I can not tell any difference when shooting with or without one!

Guess you' re the few lucky ones that don' t need a stabilizer. Most archers use a stablizer to absorb some of the shock, and to have the bow tilt forward after the arrow is on it' s way.
