Default Hang on Stands

I was thinking of getting a new hang on tree stand. Whats everyones favorite???????????? I need one that is light as I hunt public land and will be taking it back out after use. I really like one under a 100 dollars.

Gorilla is the only way to go IMO. They are cheap, tough, quiet and once hung they don' t move. They make an aluminum series called the silverback they are around $120 I believe, their metal series stands cost around $75 and they weigh 15 pounds, plenty light and they strap right on your back. The aluminum stands weigh about half what the steel ones do.

Gorilla stands would be a good choice. Check out ebay.....I have replaced several older stands with stands that I bought off there. Sometimes they are used, but other times hunting shops are getting rid of discontinued models. Just be sure to pay attention to the shipping prices.

My partners & I all hunt ' on the move' , packing
our stands in and out each day. We all use
Chippewa Chief stands, from Basic Inovations
out of Michigan. They are of the highest quality
and there is not a stand any easier to hang.
Unfortunately, they are about twice what you
are looking to pay.

If you are looking for comfort and safety check out the Binder at http://www.blackwatercreek.com/about.asp I have used them for 3 years, a little bulky walking in but worth the effort for the comfort.
