I love a drop away. I would only use a drop away if you are a release shooter. I like a drop away because you can put a little more twist on your fleatching.
I would stand clear of the quick tune drop aways. The pegs are two short and your cock feather tends to make contact with the riser of reast (depending on how you have it set up). I shoot a quick tune but had to fabricate new longer pegs. I love it now, but didnt like the idea of haveing to make new parts for it.

I use an ARC Systeme drop away,( on my Stealth Force 1 cam) but now that I have had a chance to put an MZE on a friends bow (Mathews Ultra Max)....I can' t think of a better rest for hunting (and even target shhoting).
You' d REALLY have to work at it to try to get the arrow to fall off this rest!!! VERY quiet, and the accuracy of a drop away.
Linkage seems more rugged than a tether, and you KNOW the rest will be out of the way in time. Truely a snap to set up if you watch the video.
Anyone want to buy an ARC Systeme rest???

I like the following rests
Trophy Ridge Dropzone - top of the line, built rock solid, original, and works perfectly! totally original design that many will try to copy in the very near future. this is a home run for Trophy Ridge.
Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter - rock solid, works great, often copied & never duplicated! A rest that has the big boys in the biz still trying to catch up, so much so they had to copy it to a tee & then back off the design because it was too clear what they had done.
NAP 2000 Fallaway - great rest for the money, very durable and cheaper than some other rests that claim to be the best built for the low price and was the first to position it' s prongs in this manner to allow the arms to hold the arrow.
Whisker Bisquet - At first I hated them - now I respect them - so simple to use & very solid for the hunter looking for that. I would not use it for 40-60 yard shots but for a treestand hunter it works great. This rest has caused such a stir that a major arrow rest company has tried 3 times to create a product that could perform as well.....they have failed 3 times in my opinion too.
Muzzy Zero Effect - great rest, a little bulky in my book but they work very good & those who use them love them. A specialty rest for the serious bowhunter, another product showing that the market is flooded by great rests by a lot of great companies.

One other attribute that I REALLY like about the MZE is the progressive action to it. Many other drop away rests don' t move at all....then move up VERY quickly to full height. if drawing too fast, that can cause the arrow to jump off the rest...and on many, the arrow will not land back on the rest...disaster. Even if they DO...you might have made enough noise to spook a close target.
The Muzzy starts moving almost as soon as you start drawing...very smooth. Wish they didn' t cost so much though

I really just can' t get past the physics of the drop away. Especially in the cold second season of northern Wisconsin. I have the whisker, my bro has the dropaway, new to both of us this season. We shall see.
