Default Are you a square?

Wifes bow needs a new sight! The old bracket with painted, brass pins sticking out, has got to go.

She wants me to put my sight on her bow... [:' (]

NO WAY![>:] I just got it where I want it.

My Cobra site has a clear, square pin guard, but I was looking at a sight with a round pin guard for her bow. Cobra mini-Marksman

Are you square or round?

Seems a round guard would help center the peep each time with the sight. Wait a minute... I might need to give here my sight after all!

Hyawatha, I just went through this myself. I have used a Cobra Devastator sight with a square clear pin guard for the past 4 seasons. Last year I tried the No Peep. I didn' t really care for it so I took it off and went back to a Peep sight. I have been looking at the round pin guard sights, and reading in mags. and on the forums about the benefits of it for centering in your peep. So I ordered a new Vital Bow Gear Profix sight last week. It is a single pin sight with the round pin guard with the orange on the inside of the guard. Boy did I make a smart chice. It has really made a difference in my shooting. It really helps to center the pin in the peep and hold a more consistent aim. I am glad that I did it. It lines up perfect in my Super Hunter peep. It is a wise decision to do it in my opinion. Also, I can' t believe how bright this sight is. It has a foot of fiber optic wrapped in a spool around the guard. I held it beside my Cobra and it is many times brighter. I can' t wait to hunt with it.

I like a round sight. Then I match the peep sight hole with the sight by slightly drilling it out. When I aim, all aligns up.

As of right now, I' m using a copper john. It has a round pin gard outlined on the back side with an orange ring. Works great when centering in the peep.

Round. I have a Toxonics Hybrid IV. Talk about sweet. Imagine, clear round pin guard (with a glow in the dark material surrounding it so it will glow in low light conditions), all metal construction (for durability), built in bubble level indicator (to help you get the best tune-ups and performance out of your bow), fiber optic pins (for shooting low light conditions), great looks (for showing your bow off to all the guys), very reputable company (something to brag about), and a VERY reasonable price (59.99 so you will have money left over to put into other things for your bow).

I have just taken a couple pictures of my sight to show you what it looks like.

Here are a couple pictures of the sight in the light to show you what it looks like overall and to show you the camoflauge.

And, here are a couple pictures of the sight, with all the lights off, after being in the light. Talk about sweet. Carry a flashlight with you, shine this thing up, and you could be shooting your bow at mid-night. (P.S. I am not suggesting that anyone poach deer at night, it was just a statement to show how bright the sight is)

The pictures are a little fuzzy, thanks to my piece of junk digital camera. It has seen its day. It is a Kodak DC-120, and this thing is getting pretty old.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

I just bought the HHA Optimizer lite 5000 with the round pin guard. The round pin guards are great if you use a round peep site like a fletcher.

BM, I just bought a HOYT Micro Lite sight that looks exactly like your Tox. Are they making the sight for HOYT, I heard they were? The side mounts are different on the HOYT model but the actual sight is identical! And I only paid $44 for it, what a deal. AWESOME sight, it just proves you don' t need to spend a hundred+ $$$ to get a killer sight.
