Rocket Steelhead
always loved my rocket steelheads and have had a bunch of pass through both shoulder blade shots but the one i got last night was unreal to me.
went through shoulder blade on entry exited through opposite shoulder BONE broke it in half and stuck into the ground 5". this was on a 110lb (dressed out) doe. at 32 yards. could fold the leg in half.
new blades and itll be back in the quiver (blades are dull but still intact)
ill try to get a pick up on here tomarrow of the broken bone.

You actually change blades on a tiny lil' Steelhead ??? I always considered them to be more of a disposbale b-head. You're correct though, they will shoot through anything!

RE: Rocket Steelhead
put another one on my list for the steelhead
deer followed my scent trail after gruntting him in, like an idiot i walked right to my tree instead of making a loop. came straight to me but turned sideways for just a second at 10 yards. i was up high (25ft , open woods and hill on one side) so i went through the top ribs and out the chest bone, deer went 40yards walking like he wasnt hit at all (i started to question myself) then fell over.
