Hey guys, this is something i would rather hear from real users then a damn sales person.
I own a multree game cam, dont remember model. But it cost $99.99
Ok here is the deal. It does work and take good pictures and they are clear.
But the battery life of this thing is crap. Lasting maybe 2 weeks.
They sell a solar cell to recharge batteries but thats just more stuff in the woods to me when im sure something will last longer without that.
Is there anyone here who can post what cameras they are using and how long battery life you are getting using top grade batteries like duracell and energizer. Also give a general price they paid for the camera or even link to it from the web?
Im really not to up for spending $300.00 on some camera that will not work like i want, not to mention if it gets stolen.
This would really help me out allot. Im sure it would help others answer some questions they have as well.

Tomkat,
The way you describe your camera sounds like a D-40. Anytime you have a regular flash camera, the battery life will be less than an IR camera. I have a Moultrie I-40 and I get about 5 months out of a set of D-cells. And that would be over 1000 pics! The I-40 sells for about $200.00. Hope this helps.

Tomkat,
Update!! I was just looking through my latest mailing from Sportsmens Guide and they have a Stealthcam I-540IR for 119.99. That's a great price for an IR cam. You can go to www.chasingame.com to read the reviews on this camera. Hope this helps.

Predator cams are TRUE IR there are no red glowing lights and definitely no flash on a set of AA's my cam has been in the field for over 6 weeks and still has a lot of battery life not to mention high quality videos and pictures along with a lifetime guarantee on the casing and a touch screen to view select save and delete pictures in the field.
