Nap dropaway 2000 rest
I was reading an older issue of Petersons bowhunter magazine. In there was an article about the Nap dropaway 2000 rest. Do any of you guys use them and what feedback do you have about them. I'm looking to get a new rest! Are dropaways better then shoot through style? What do you guys prefer?

RE: Nap dropaway 2000 rest
I shoot the NAP 2000. It's a good rest: reliable, simple, easy to set up and rugged. The only thing I dont like about it is it's not micro-adjustable (that is the NAP 4000). I shoot 3D and hunt with my bow, most emphasis on hunting and the rest does fine for me.

Chris, I had the 2000 and switched to the 4000 for the adjustments. At first I didn't feel the extra cost was justified. Now, after using the 4000, I feel it is. They're easy to set up & tune. Mine have worked flawlessly (I have 3).

RE: Nap dropaway 2000 rest
I shot this rest for the past year, with no complaints. Easy to use, and there's really nothing to go wrong.
I probably would have bought the 4000 if I knew, just because of the ease in tuning with the micro adjustment. I would say that's worth the extra cash. Definitely a quality drop away rest with no unneccessary gimicks or parts.

I have the NAP QT 4000 on my Mathews . . . I ain't changing unless it would be to a newer version of the same thing. And I gained 2fps in speed. No big deal but I drive tacks and am on my third dozen nocks.

RE: Nap dropaway 2000 rest
hi,
I had the 2000 nice rest but it broke 3 times on me !!! It has a roll pin stop this broke and elongated the hole it was in.. contacted NAP about this they sent another rest to fix me up it broke too... then they sent me the 4000 for my troubles this has performed flawlessly!!!!!!!! Spend the extra money and get the 4000 its a drop away 3000 micro adjustable takes minutes to tune and durable...can' t say enough on mine now i have to try thier rest holder!!!
just my 2 cents!!!

I have the arrow holder on my FX and it is great. Mine came loose on one end and it was easily reattached using common Contact Cement. It even did great elk hunitng in November.
Great rest and great holder.
