Default Freedom bowcase by SKB

Anyone have a opinion on these? It looks like a decent case a step under the origianl skb. I was thinking about purchasing one but am very interested in any opinions that you may have.

Thanks

My dad has one. Its a nice case. I think skb did some faulty advertising when they said it wasa double bow case, most likely you wouldnt even be able to fit your bow with quiver attached in the thing. For what they cost Id shop around a bit. I have a plano protector bow case and its less than half the price of the freedom and I like it better. Hope this helps good luck.

I have a SKB Freedom case in addition to the 4114. It is a nice compact Hard case, not much extra room like the 4114. SKB quality is hard to beat, but if you are looking for a compact, lightweight, hard case it is definitely a top choice

Only thing is that it is not airline approved. The plano cases are approved

We had several of them arrive at the shop cracked in transit, and that was also with them in a cardboard box. We had to return them. If UPS can crack them with nothing in it and when it's in a cardboard box, I'd be VERY hesitant to ever fly with a $1200+ setup bow in one.......you know those airline guys are harder on stuff than UPS. We no longer carry them at the shop, had too many problems with them. It's a shame they crack so easily, because they do seem to be a decent case otherwise for the price.

SKB makes some very fine bow cases, but everything I've heard indicates that possibly the Freedom isn't their best one. I will admit though, I have no experience with it, so everything I say is third party.

I bought a Vanguard a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happier.

I own both the SKBFreedom and the SKB 4114. The Freedom case is not the case the 4114 is, but then it's half the money. I find since it is so compact and lightweight but still offers protection of a Hard Case I use the Freedom most of the time.

When I fly I opt for the 4114
