Default which slick trick?

I'm going to order some slick trick 100 grain broadheads but not sure if I want the 1" diameter or the magnums that have 1 1/8". Anybody tried them? any opinions? Thanks

i'd say you cant go wrong with the bigger one. it just means bigger holes right?

I like to have a bigger cutting diameter just to have more assurance on those not so perfect shots.

Bigger is always better. However, if you shoot short arrows you may want to make sure that they will not contact your riser. I doubt the little bit will be a problem though.

I'm using the Slick Trick Magnum 100's this season. They seem bullet proof and are as accurate as they get!

Mags all the way. I have the 125's and they are great.

125 Magnums for me too. I shotone deer last year with a Standard and one with a Mag, and both worked very well. Justa little insurance with the Mag.

I asked the Tech Staff with ST the very same question. They said for deer, either would work, but the mags would just make a bigger hole. They also said, for Elk he would recommend the standards because of better penetration. That answer was based upon my rig of course. I would assume that you guys who shoot the hot rigs won't have any problems with penetration regardless of the broadhead being shot.

I'll be using these out of my crossbow. We can't use guns in my area and can't use regular bows during guns season but we can use crossbows. Whatever keeps me in the woods.
