Red Dot Scope
#1
I asked this question on the bowhunting thread too and got some good responses from Fieldmouse but no one else. Someone else has to use onre or have some experience with them.
Anyone use one? Advantages? Disadvantages?
Considering getting a new sight for my bow this year and the gear guide on Cabelas said they could be a good option for people with glasses who would also like to eliminate a peep.
Input much appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. Pro shop manager said only negative was that the sight plus bracket could add 2 pounds to bow but the scopes I've seen on Cabelas all weigh well under a pound with bracket.

Uncle Ted uses one once in a while and he seems to do ok. Go to his site and ask him. I dont know any one personally that uses them but apparently they must work poretty good cause i have seen some of the other pros use them. I had thought about it too at one time or another.
