I actually contacted G5 and recommended they add the lock washers from the factory.
It's a cheap way to make sure that everything stays snug and G5 doesn't have to worry about guys like me breaking things.
On my bow I like blue lock tight items that will not be removed and plan on adding lock washers to things that I will adjust. Do I really need to do this to everything? Probably not. But they're preventative items that cost pennies now compared to hunting down a noise.

Since the installation of the lock washers the sight works perfectly. I also recommend the .019" pins
I can actually see the bullseye at 50+ yds and my groups have gotten smaller in the process.
I've shot outdoors in low light and haven't had to use the LED that comes with the sight.
