I like the Redhead Packlite Gore-Tex jacket and pant that Bass Pro carries.

No matter what you get....make sure it says GORE-TEX. Nothing else is the same.

MTO50 is clearly the best of the best! However, it's a bit to pricey for most folks, but man it's good gear! Cabela's Rain Suede is pretty impressive also for the hunter on more of a budget.

Field and stream makes a very nice rain suit, not sure what the exact name or model of it is but Ive had very good luck with mine. I have also heard that frog tog, I think thats the name of it makes a very good one in camo also.

passthru,

Frog togs have excellent breathability and are light, but they are probably better for fishing or regular outdoor stuff because they are a little noisy.

I have a non-camo set with school mascot on em (Christmas present).

I agree that it is hard to beat anything with Gore-Tex (even after 20+ years)

Rivers west, if you want lighter stuff, get the h2p LAW, if you want warmth as well, then just get regular h2p. i have never worn anything like it. it is well worth the money

River West is not a breather, although it has vent zippers.

I bought the Field and Stream quiet camo rain suit at Dick's Sporting Goods. It breathes really well and the Real Tree AP camo is great.

Got the pants and jacket together for $79.99 on sale.
