Randi- Do you really think Bowtech out sells Mathews? In the pasttwoyears I could almost bet Mathews has sold more Switchback XT's than the whole line of Bowtech bows put together. And if you look at this season....I guarentee the drenlin will outsell Bowtech's new bow(the real ugle one with the crazy looking limb/riser style).

No, I was responding to a statement if you read earlier post. When you boil it down, the shooter usually makes the bow, but to deny Mathewsisn't the largest seller of compounds is silly or has no technical experience yet?????????????What????

Who cares who outsells who. AllI care about is I got the bow that I personally liked the best. Or, that a friend of mine bought the bow that he or she liked hte best. Even though I don't want another single cam I'd probably take the Matthews next and then the Hoyt.
However, someone else shoots the 3 and says he'd take the Hoyt, then the Matthews, then Bowtech.
Another guy says Ross, Parker, PSE.And so on, and so on, and so on.
I'm amazed at how quickly people's feelings are hurt when someone recommends trying a different bow. There are too many stories that are unconfirmed about something on a bow and people run with it like crazy. All the bows are great. I'd take any of them if given to me.
I heard:
The Matthews Drenalin limbs explode and it tears the serving off the cables.
The Bowtech suffers from cam lean and limb problems.
The Hoyt used to have limb problems.
The PSE had limb problems.
Bear had limb problems.

Hey tmeservey, Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say they sell more bows. I think I said- BOWTECH HAS GROWN FASTER THAN ANY OTHER MANUFACTURER IN HISTORY. I don't know who sells the most bows or how anyone could even get accurate info on how many bows each company sells each year. Like you said, YOU COULD ALMOST BET, Sounds like you are not really confident in your own statement. I didn't mean to offend the mathews shooters, they are just not that popular out here in OR. All the 3D shoots I attend there are probably 3 mathews to every 10 Bowtechs, but then again they are manufactured here in Oregon.

Mathews bows do shoot nice and smooth, that probably works fine when killing paper targets, But out west here where I liveI perfer a bow with more bang for my Bucks.

PreacherTony I don't get too serious about much, The main gripe I have with mathews is that they not as fast as they say they are, they are a little misleading. They record their bow @ 4.4 grs per #. Instead of the standard 5 grs. per #. I quess I am comparing apples to oranges. I hate to sound knitpicky over .6 grains but it is what it is.

So why do we care about your gripes? WE DON'T!

Hey MD you are full of it, saying I am young and ignorant, you are wrong on both counts, and you are way out there saying you have seen only 2 limbs put on a hoyt, I don't know what kind off backyard archery shop you hang out at but if you call hoyt and ask them what their standard procedure is for a broken limbs they will cretainly set the record straight. You can call them @ 801-363-2990 I'm sure you will be enlightened. As for Dave and his sugar, I have a truck not a car, and he wouldn't even get close to it without having a busted pencil neck. I think his well is to close to the out house. (ha ha ha). Don't bother replying.
