RE: Vanes what ones ?
Whisker buscuits really like Blazers. They are rigid enough to handle the abuse of the friction w/ the bristles.
For that matter, Blazers are an awesome choice regardless of the rest. They stabilize broadheads VERY well, and don't weigh as much as 4" vanes.
If you want the "cool" factor, go feathers. Nothing compares to feathers, in the cosmetic department anyway. Only 1 negative, they really don't like to get wet.

Use the 2"....DO NOT use the 1 1/2"......They are strictly for target shooting. They will work perfectly out of a 50 pound bow. The wind doesn't affect them badly, no worse than any other vane. In fact, maybe not as much as most others.

I shoot 2" Blazers off a drop away rest on carbon shafts and have been extremely pleased. They give a whole new meaning to , "they take a lickin' and go on tickin'." I have hit them with practice arrows numerous times and have yet to bend, break, or have one fall off. They fly.....well, straight as an arrow...

I deffinetly would go with the blazers, the only thing Ive not liked about them is clearance from my cables. With my drop away I dont want to go cock vane down and cant go cock vane left cause Ill contact cable, I got it sqeeking by though and arrow flight is awsome.
