I have a Vulcan in 70#/30". Mine is shooting an amazing 297 fps with a 450 grain arrow, producing somewhere around 88 # of kinetic energy. I love my Vulcan and everyday that I shoot it, I am more thrilled that I bought it over the Mathews or the Vectrix. Dont get me wrong, I love the Vectrix, but the performance of this bow is truly amazing. Very little (if any) hand shock. I'm grouping my shots all the way out to 50 yards. Very balanced and very steady bow. I hope others are as pleased with theirs as I am with mine.

Thats terrific velocity for a 450 grain arrow. Sounds like a great shooter did you have any trouble with the short brace height?

At first the short brace height took some getting used to. My old Diamond had about a 8" BH and this vulcan is just as forgiving as it. I will say this, the ONLY reason I am getting this kind of velocity is because I am able to shoot 70# and because of my draw length. I actually shot a 355 grain arrow through a chrono with my Vulcan and registered a 328.6fps. So I know my bow is a little faster than the advertised IBO. Guess I am just lucky cause I didnt do anything to it to "juice" it up. Add about 95 grains of arrow to that and it stands to reason that it would slow down about 30 fps, which is where I am at with it now.

Hey I'm new to the forum but i also have the vulcan.. I have to say i love this bow.
Very smooth with virtually no hand shock at all. Very nice bow and the short BH is not a problem. Shooting a 393 gr arrow at 29 inch draw 66# 284..

I bought a 80# vulcan and at 29.5" draw it shoots a 424 grain axis ob. @ 321 fps, that blows my 70# trykon away, and with the vector cam it don't feel that much heavier then the zephyr cam, and I gained over 30 fps
