Thats terrific velocity for a 450 grain arrow. Sounds like a great shooter did you have any trouble with the short brace height?
At first the short brace height took some getting used to. My old Diamond had about a 8" BH and this vulcan is just as forgiving as it. I will say this, the ONLY reason I am getting this kind of velocity is because I am able to shoot 70# and because of my draw length. I actually shot a 355 grain arrow through a chrono with my Vulcan and registered a 328.6fps. So I know my bow is a little faster than the advertised IBO. Guess I am just lucky cause I didnt do anything to it to "juice" it up. Add about 95 grains of arrow to that and it stands to reason that it would slow down about 30 fps, which is where I am at with it now.
