releases.. need some input, wanting to buy today.. gift.
Hi, I am wanting to buy a release. It is a christmas gift for my boyfriend. I've heard/read great things about the Jim Fletcher Fletchunter Shorty, and the Scott Archery Little Goose...
I need some help deciding which to get.. Regardless of what which I choose I do know that i'll be buying one with a buckle style wrist attatchment...
Now.. His bow has a loop on it, I was told that the Scott Little Goose is best for a knock style set up and that the Fletchunter is better for a loop set up...
I like the more trigger shaped trigger on the Fletchunter (that's the shape his current one has) but i'm not sure if that makes any difference...
if i could get your opinions on this i would be SO greatful or if you think there is another type that is better, let me know.. but let me know why it's better, or rather what makes it so great
I want to get this ordered today..
Thanks!

Rather than the Little Goose I'd get the Scott Silverhorn for the string loop set-up. It is the fastest for hooking in and has a very nice crisp sear/trigger.

hope that helps.. at least it shows what he's use to using.. i want to be sure that what i get isn't TOO different.. as far as how it works.. i don't want it to be too unfamiliar to him.. if that makes sense
btw, thanks for the reply.. i'll take a look at it now

Well, you can't go wrong, anything you've suggested is a step up from there.
I my self is a Carter man but scott is also top of the line ! but you might want to get him a gift card for me a release has to fit as much as the bow has to fit ..
