The only drawback I can think of in going to the Superslims would be losing the ability to get as hard a helical when fletching... Any thoughts?

Well, it works fine on the Axis, but I understand what you're saying. The smaller diameter would make you think that.

I'm getting a full helical with my 4" Quick Spins on the SuperSlims. No problem.
