Default fletching jigs

i am looking at buying a fletching jig but i am really uncertain which one will be the best. i have looked at the binzenburger and the jo jan but i really want a jig that will do all the fletchs on one arrow at a time. i know the arizona flecthing jig will do this but i really dont want something plastic. Please let me know some of your opinions on these jigs and if there is any others that perform well let me know. thanks

The Arizona is the only one I know of that will fletch all 3 at the same time...I may be mistaken, but I know of no other.

The Bitz is the best in the business, but I have a Grayling. It does just as good a job at half the cost.

The Bitz is by far the best...I have a friend that has one and he loves it and I like it as well. It does come with a pretty nice price tag as well. I have the Jo Jan and it does a good job for half the price. If you have $70 for a fletching machine, then I would go with that one...if you want to spend half that, then go with the Jo Jan.

Nothing wrong with the Arizona. I've been using mine for 3 years, and plastic or not, it gets the job done every time.

Cabella's alsosells a fletcher that does three vanes at a time, or it's easy to replace just one. I have 2 of those and a Bitzenburger. I like both models.

Been using the plastic Arizona for 2 years now and it is simple and fast. Flat out gets the job done in 1/2 the time. Last Saturday I sat and lazily fletched 27 arrows while watching Michigan trounce the Irish. That included strip the old vanes, drink the beers, scotchbrite the surface, drink the beers, Acetone the surface, drink the beers, start the gluing process, etc etc etc. Not a bad way to spend 3 hrs on a Saturday.

ebay or archerytalk classifieds. I wouldn't hesitate to get one used, they don't break or wear out. Mine was used and I actually got it for $50 and it works excellent. I actually like it better than the bitz's we have at the shop but I think it is just because I spend more time on mine and have found a work around on getting even vane contact on skinny shafts by using a piece of paper as a shim at the top between the clamp and shaft.
