Stay with the ACC's. Every incidence I have seen in the past two years (3) of arrow failures on release were ALL Carbon Express arrows. With the carbon wrapped aluminum arrows you can spot damage instantly. Carbons can fracture on the inside where you can not detect faults or damage until the arrow impacts the target or, in the worst scenario, when released.

yikes...thanks..i never heard of a carbon arrow blowing on the release, but i did see a pic last year of a guy with one through his hand...that isnt a good thing. what r the chances of someone being injured from that happening??

Carbon arrows can fracture on release when shot if they are damaged. I also saw the picture of the arrow through his hand. However aluminum arrows can do the same thing. I also saw a picture some time back of an aluminum shaft through a mans hand. To me the carbon arrows are the way to go. The positives far out way the negatives just be sure to check your shafts ever so often!!

Any arrow that hasn't been inspected, but is damaged can do that, not just CX.If you target practice alot, and routinely hit one against the other,or hit a tree when you miss the target,or anything like that, any carbon may get damaged.

The maxima's aren't bad but i'd stick with the acc's. Carbon Express charges too much for their shafts, and the acc's have them topped anyways.
