Copper John!!!!
Well I hunted really hard this last couple weeks. And I am a little dissapointed with the strength of the pins on my Copper john sight. I broke three pins in 6 days.... It is a good thing I am a worry hound and take extra's of everything. I just kept on putting new ones on! I have a true-glo sight on my other bow(which I let my dad shoot) and it held up like a champ. So needless to say I am considering a new sight!

That's odd, I hunt hard too, and Ihaven't had a single pin break.
Well, I broke when when the rope I was using the haul my bow up into my practice stand broke and my bow fell about 10 feet.
Other than that the bow has been through thick brush, up and down trees, pushed into the dirt, everything you can imagine.
Interesting...

Did you break the pins because of having them snagged on brush or just by shooting. If it was the former then I agree with the C.U.P. suggestion. I have one on my 3D rig and really appreciate the protection it provides.
On the other hand, if they broke because of recoil/vibration then I would agree that another sight would be in order. In which case I would recommend the Cobra Sidewinder Radiant. It will be adorning my hunting bow come this fall.

Yeah I snapped a few also..never during a shot..but an occasional branch while walking in/out in the dark. I also snagged one on a thorny rotten little bush, once when pulling my bow up to the treestand. Figured I see Ol'big that evening for sure since I couldn't shoot!!

I am not sure how they broke??? Somwhere in between the 4-wheeler and the jungle that I hunt! If they only had a stronger pin! Maybe I'll have to give the new ones a try!
