Goat, good advice from bgfisher. I built a frame using 3/4" PVC large enough for a full sheet of newspaper. I've also used a cardboard box, taping the flaps to the outside to give it some rigidity and shot thru the opening into the target.
I like to paper tune without vanes on my arrow.
A properly tuned bow will shoot more accurately with both field tips and broadheads as you arrow willcome off the bow straighter and stabalize quicker.
