Lone Wolf Treestand ?
Hey Guys--
I'm in the market for a new treestand this year, and I'm looking for a stand/sit climber that is quiet and lightweight. My first treestand 4 years ago was a Hunter's View which had a nice sling seat, but very heavy, and the front was enclosed with a rail that worked perfectly as a gun rest. I sold that one last year and got an Ol' Man, wanting something more lightweight to carry in the Mounts of WV. The front rail didn't work too good as a gun rail because the sling sit sits you above the rail. I consider myself bowhunter who gun hunts and I like the shooting rail.
I'm looking at right now the Lone Wolf Sit/Stand but am curious about their hand climber. Just wonder if any of you have used a Lone Wolf and your Opinions, and if you have used the hand climber. Thnks for you input.

RE: Lone Wolf Treestand ?
I used my brothers Lone Wolf climber on a couple hunts last year. He has the hand climber model. In my opinion it's the best stand I've ever used. Not only was it light weight but it packed down nice and flat. My only complaint is that the seat wasn't the most comfortable for a long hunt. I see the sit and climb model has a different seat which looks more comfortable.
Another stand that has caught my attention is the new Summit Razor X5. That stand is also light and has the adjustable shooting rail. And it's $100 cheaper than the Lone Wolf sit and climb.
I don't know if the sale is still going on but www.keystonecountrystore.com was selling the Lone Wolf sit and climb last week for $305.99 + s/h.
