Just got my Cabella's Bow Scale and it is off by about 4 1/2 pounds. Should I keep it and adjust accordingly when I measure or return it and hope to get one that's correct. By the way I used a digital scale to proof test it. Also it said my draw weigt was 59 lbs. I just bought my bow 1 month ago and it was 63 at the pro shop, also I cranked it up a half turn. That's the reason I bought the scale. I should be up to about 65.+ or -.

Send it back and get a new one. No sense keeping something that isn't right and may be off even more in the future. Make sure they pay for shipping both ways.

I would agree. Cabelas is excellent with customer service. Heck, if you feel daring, then ask them to check the new one before they send it. Quality control with some products is always an issue but chances are that you may get a more accurate one on the next try.
