If they work as they say they do ,it just might be some of the best money I've ever spent for hunting and fishing and camping .

People always ask about it spooking game. Think about what it is. It is a vapor just like your body odor. It is only going to be blown to the same places that your body odor is being blown to. If the deer smell the thermacell then they will have certainly smelled your body odor long before.

As for the tree stand I just place it flat on the foot platform under my seat against the tree and let it do its thing.

I was at a Meijer store just yesterday and found that they stock both the Thermacell and the refill kits . I didn't see a price tag , but it would just about have to be cheaper than ordering one from a catalog .

When I went turkey hunting this spring, my thermacell was like american express... dont leave home without it. Its awesome. I don't know how I ever managed to sit still with black flies swarming before...

I used one for the first time this past turkey season and I was sold. I will definately get one more, maybe two.

I wouldn't be hunting in Sept. if it wasn't for my Savanah suit and of course my Thermacell

I was in Fl last week and when I climbed into the tree stand the skeeters were so thick I couldn't even think. I fired up the thermacell and within 5 min they were gone. Not one bite. I did notice it puts off a bluish vapor that goes straight up like smoke. I would plan on spooking game that approached down wind. I am planning on using it when the skeeters are really bad and not fire it up until I need it.

OK, you all do realize that you, as a human, stink a whole lot worse than that thermacell could ever stink

IF THE DEER CAN SMELL THAT LITTLE PLUME OF SMOKE THEY THEY SURE AS HECK CAN SMELL YOU.
