QuickSpin vanes? Any performance increase?
#1
Is anyone out there using the Quickspin vanes by NAP and if so, did you notice any accuracy / grouping performance increase by switching?
Just wondering as I'm gathering components to make my own arrows and wondered if they were any better over other plain-jane vanes.
Thanks!

I am using 2.25 inch quickspins, I think they add alot more spin which is what they are advertised to do. I am shooting these small vanes with fixed blade broadheads(slick tricks). I also like them for the clearance issues.

I use the 4" quickspins with a right offset. At 20 yards their is little difference. But past that, they do group better. They have worked well with all the broadheads I have tried with them. Montec, Muzzy, and Grim Reapers. Good luck

I've experimented alot with these vanes and I'm not that impressed. They do spin the shaftv a bit more but they are fragile and costly. They also destroy arrow flight in a crosswind worse than any vane I've seen. They are simply not worth it IMO, especially compared to vanes like the Bohning Blazers.

i use them, 4in on my stalker extreme 28in arrows. they do seem to stabilize the arrow and give me some what tighter groups. i also use a TRAP DOOR arrow rest. they fly good and quiet for me. good luck. jim

Killed deer without them and will continue to do so, just a way to spend more money. Will they increase accuracy probably, but to me they are not worth the extra money
