I like to use soured Milo.. I buy it in 50 bags, divide the contents into two trash cans and add water until Milo is completely covered. Let sit in the sun for four weeks, and the best carp bait in the world.. I only use about 1/2 a gallon and the carp go nuts... It's the best thing I have ever found to bring in carp.. You can use up one trash can and have another getting ready and have bait year around.

I used to scatter about 2# cracked corn in shallow water per day. After 2 weeks or so, I'd bring a co-worker w/kids to fish for them. Bait was pureedcream corn mixed with oatmeal todoughball consistency. You could not put down the rod - carp would bein there thick, plus an occasional channel or white catfish. Great way to introduce a youngster to heavy fish...
