no we weren't walking the bank we were fishing out of a boat the head gear makes it easier to see when you are unsticking fish

That is a very nice set up you have there Goose! It looks as if it is pretty easy to remove.....Is it? I am playing with quite a few options with my boat (16' Wide Deep). I just cant make up my mind whether or not to install a deck. How heavy is your deck?

Thanks

d/p it is real easy to put on and take off. I ran 8 1/4" bolts with nylock nuts thru the gunnals just to keep the platform from coming off the bolts aren't even tight i just snugged them up to keep them from backing out. because my boat wasn't square i had to weld the legs on using the boat as my template so it doesn't slide around from to back or side to side. Without the lights the platform weighs 42lbs. I would guess with the lights it's about 50ish those 2 hps lights in the front are pretty heavy but they work great.
