Wow awesome pic Randy, you guys will have fresh bacon for awhile . Being a methodical hunter I have to ask what kind or brand of projectiles were you guys using? A couple buddies of mine went to texas a fews months back for muzzle loader hog hunt, they used barnse MZ sabots. My BP rifle shoots 240 grain XTP mags really well. Are there better bullets out there for hogs? I'm gonna join my friends in texas next year for a hog hunt it will be my first time hog hunting, atleast other than shooting ferel hogs in missouri.

Randy,

Great shooting guys. Should make a lot of nice sausage. How what technique did you guys use to hunt them. Were you running dogs? Thats a lot of hogs!

Running dogs? Only way to hunt them in TN. And penned in. I went last month. Not sure I would do it again.

There was a wide variety, too many to list. This is subjective, I did not see every kill, but the fastest drops were by 300 gr. Barnes MZ, 300 gr. Hornady XTP, and 375 gr. Buffalo SSB.
