Mark.. on those QT's which ones would you recommend I try in my Wolverine? Also the Black Diamond XR? I have shot their Silver Lightening 300 grain and the accuracy was exceptional. I just do not like their prices....
I figure I will pick up a pack or two of them when I order some more Buffalo Bullet 375 grain SSB sabots...
thanks

For a better bullet-dollar value - plus the ability to re-order those 375 gr SSBs, try some of these Buffalo "Keith Nose Replicas" available at this website in 225, 252 & 302 grain. Scroll all the way down the page -- right near the bottom.
Made of soft, pure lead with a truncated cone. A large hollow point combined with a boat-tail base assures flatter trajectory and maximum expansion at all muzzleloading distances.
Buffalo Sabot/Bullets
OR
You can order any Buffalo conical, roundball or sabot/bullet PLUS get those SSBs you have in other grain sizes like 285 or 325 grain by calling them by phone.

Cayugad: have you ever found a buffallo SHPBT that shot as well as the silver lighting 300 grainers made by precision in your testing?
I feel like you the prices on the silver lighting are out of hand

Triple Se7en... thanks much!! How did I ever miss that sight???
Leave it to you to find the best sights... Although I did not intend to spend this much on bullets this month there are a lot of different projectiles I want to try. We will wait for all of them to appear and then go out to the range this spring after the snow melts and have a
on the range....
thanks again.

lonewolf.. I remember when you told me to try the Silver Lightening when I first got my Black Diamond. And you had such good luck. As you claimed, they shot excellent. But as you said, the price was a little hard to throw down range.
Look over that web site Triple Se7en posted and see if any of them would be the same as the Silver Lightening. I wish they had pictures of the things but the prices are sure good..
I have never found any that were the same design. Although the Buffalo Bullet 375 grain SSB sabots sure shot as well as the Silver Lightening....

Thanks everyone for the information. I want to get the precision, BUT I don't want Cecil to receive any of my money. So with that in mind I have decided to look elsewhere. Even though I have the No Excuse conicals I want to have the sabots as well so that I can truely see for myself what bullet shoots from the omega best. I am never satisfied with mediocre--I want the best for my money.
Buffalo Bullets are the way for me right now, but if anyone else has a particular bullet that you think (or know) will shoot out of the .50 Omega the let me know.
Also, does anyone have the email address of Precision--I would like to fire off an email to them and tell them that they have lost a customer.

Yea, thats their web site--I've looked all over it and can't find an email address. I don't really want to waste my dime and calling them--although a toll free number.
Oh well
